Mike was a great friend. I have known Mike for 18 years since I moved to Westminster Maryland. We
would talk on the phone almost everyday. He would share his latest meals and recipes with me often. He would ask me what I had for dinner too. He often checked on me by phone when he knew I was sick as I called him to check with him when he was sick. We both did not have any family in town or nearby. He would cook and have me and my son over for dinner sometimes. I would ask, what can I bring? Mike did not care as he liked almost anything that I brought. He was always telling me where the best food buys were in town. I would watch the dogs when he went out of town. Crossby would sit and not go in certain directions sometimes though. I always told Mike I'm going to put the dogs on the leash as I
did not want anything to happen to them on my watch. I felt like Mike was the brother I never had. He always asked me about my son and what he was doing at the time. He always complimented me on raising my son as a single Mom. He gave me a lot of courage when I felt down or was struggling as a
parent. I never met Mike's Sister or nephews, but there's no question the love and praise he had for his family. He was always speaking highly of them to me. I would take him to get his cars serviced so he did not have to wait there at the shop and take him back home. Mike was a very dear friend to me. I am truly
sorry for the loss of your beloved family member. He was a kind and very honest man. I
will truly miss him.

Michael was a good neighborhood friend and classmate! We had a lot of fun as kids running wild in our neighborhood. I am sorry we lost touch over the years. I will always remember him as a kind, thoughtful person!
