Patsy Lee Boone

Patsy Lee Boone, age 76, of Union Bridge, died Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House, Westminster, after a brief illness. Born June 14, 1941 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Verilus Howard Price and Rita Clemson Price. She was the wife of Milton Russell, "Jack" Boone who died in 2013. Patsy was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church, Union Bridge. She was a life member of the auxiliaries of V.F.W. Post 8806 of Union Bridge and the Blue Ridge Sportsmen Association of Blue Ridge Summit and was a member of the auxiliaries of AMVETS of Thurmont and Hesson-Snider American Legion Post 120 of Taneytown. She enjoyed attending bluegrass festivals, reading and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. Surviving are daughters, Patty Stewart and companion Shirley Hernandez of Vacaville, CA; Deb Myers and husband Rick of Westminster and Sharon Schildt of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons, John Stewart Jr. and wife Sue of Union Bridge and Shawn Stewart and wife Kim of Taneytown; step granddaughters, Chelsea and Megan Frye; 7 grandchildren, John Stewart III, Misti Trescone, Chad Schildt, Joshua Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Cameron Schildt and Wesley Stewart; 8 great grandchildren, Adrianna, Avery, Hartley, Teagan, Easton, Piper, Jase and Cayson; brother, Howard Price and wife Shirley of Groverland, FL and nephew, Greg Price. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 2 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, with Raymond Wetzel, officiating. Private interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Union Bridge. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
