Paul Effingham Obituary
Paul James "Jim" Effingham II, 54, of Hampstead, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in Baltimore.
Born Aug. 31, 1958, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Paul and Regina Conway Effingham. He was the husband of Deborah Stefanski Effingham, his wife of 19 years.
He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and was the owner of Precision Tune Auto Care in Catonsville. He was an avid bow hunter, and enjoyed hiking, boating and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Ann Marie Effingham, of Califon, N.J., Sarah Jean Effingham and Theresa Lynn Effingham, both of Hampstead; a son, Paul James Effingham III, of Hampstead; sisters and brother-in-law Jean Ann Harris, of Bear, Del., Linda and Joe McKenna, of Berlin, Margaret "Peggy" Bishop, of Severn, and Dorothy Christina "Chrissy" Walck, of Baltimore; brothers-in-law Stanley S. Stefanski, and Frank J. Stefanski and wife Karen, all of Pennsylvania, and Michael L. Stefanski and wife Catherine, of Kentucky; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn J. Stefanski, of Pennsylvania.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.
A Requiem Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Ducks Unlimited Inc., One Waterfowl Way, Memphis, TN 38120.

I am so deeply saddened about the passing of Jim. I was one of Jim's suppliers at the Precision Tune he owned and operated. He was always such a pleasure to talk with - very knowledgable, very professional, very caring. He will be missed more than you know. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and close friends.
