Phyllis Jean Devilbiss, 73, of Westminster, died Friday, February 3, 2023 at her home. Born January 16, 1950 in Bird Hill, she was the daughter of the late Frank Kenneth Magin and Trevia Crider Magin. Before retiring she was a custodian at Century High School and a secretary for Dr. Barber at Center for Total Eye Care. She was a graduate of Westminster High School. She is survived by her daughter Christa Devilbiss and son Larry Devilbiss, both of Westminster; her siblings Sandra Weidner (Richard) of Westminster, Edith Owings of Hampstead, Darlene Francis (Bill) of Westminster; grandchildren Kathleen, Taylor and Jacob Devilbiss. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m.

Ii am just hearing of Mom Devilbiss passing. She was the Mom to so many . She was a light to my life for sure. There will always be love for you. My love also to Christa and Larry , may God see you through .

Phyllis will surely be missed at Center for Total Eye Care. She was kind hearted and loved by all of the staff. She was a team player and always willing to help out with any necessary tasks. May her memory be a blessing to her family and friends.

Phyllis was on amazing hard working lady. She was definitely the fancy nancy maw maw version! She had the best stacked wood pile in carroll county! Taylor and Jacob were definitely the apples in her eyes. We will miss her dearly.
