Raymond Banz Obituary

Raymond T. Banz, 76, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on May 4, 2021, after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charleen G. Kramer, loving daughter: Kimberly L. Kramer, cherished grandchildren: Steven M. Biddinger, Jr. and partner Becca, and Holly Biddinger Carney and husband Tyler, former father-in-law of Steven M. Biddinger, Sr. and Rita Haag. Preceded in death by his son: Raymond Charles Banz. Also leaving behind sisters: Mary Parks and Frances Leppert, brothers: John and Joseph Banz, sisters-in-law: Carolyn Cassady and her husband John, and Lynn Wieciech. Many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Ray. Ray loved to read and was passionate about thoroughbred horse racing and was a regular at the Greenmount Station Off Track Betting site in Hampstead, where he formed many special friendships. Ray served in the Army from 1960-1964 and was dedicated to Specialty Reinforcing Construction Company, which he founded in 1984. The family is requesting privacy at this time. Per the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. If you wish to honor Ray, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ray's memory.
