Raymond Stewart Obituary

Raymond Andrew Stewart, age 94, of Marriottsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at home. Born September 8, 1929 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George Washington and Kostka (Young) Stewart. He was the husband of Marjorie E. Stewart. Raymond did masonry and construction work for most of his life. He enjoyed camping, crabbing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters and son, Deborah Janis and husband Michael, Michael Stewart and wife Elizabeth, Patricia Conaway and husband Douglas; grandchildren, Laura Carder and husband Mark, Matthew Stengel and wife Natalie, Gregory Janis, Christine Yee and husband Edmond, Brittany Yesker and husband Joseph; great-grandchildren, Kiersten and Ethan Carder, Eliana and Dalton Stengel, Gabriel and Lucas Yesker; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, David Stewart; siblings, Robert, Pete, Kenneth, Russell, Dorothy, Gertrude, Evelyn, Rosalia, and Treasa. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 11 AM - 12 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will follow at 12 PM.
