Robert Bartholomew

Robert Leeds "Biff" Bartholomew Jr, 82, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Biff was born in Lexington, MA on April 16, 1939 to Robert "Bart" and Lucille Bartholomew. He was a graduate of Kents Hill School in Maine, Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Biff married Judy Saunders of Westbrook, ME in 1960. He was a reservist in the U.S. Air Force while in school. The family moved to Maryland in 1967 where Biff began his career as a hospital administrator and then as a real estate agent until his retirement. Biff is survived by his wife Judy; sister Lesley Larson; daughter Cyndy Herrell and husband Jeff; daughter Linda Hoskins and husband Barry; son David Bartholomew and wife Christie; and grandchildren: Elise, Greg, Jarrett, Emma, Kevin and Griffin. Biff rarely met a stranger that he wasn't eager to talk to and make a connection with; he had a warm caring personality and enjoyed talking with anyone at any time. Biff was a loyal fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens, and volunteered for the Friends of Fort McHenry. He enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
