Robert Killett Obituary

Robert Louis Killett, 85, of Sykesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at BridgingLife's Dove House, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 23, 1938, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD to the late James William Killett and Beryl Enos Scrivenor Killett. He was the loving husband of Mary Elizabeth Livesay Killett. Bob was a former nursing home owner and administrator. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Sykesville and Door to Virtue Masonic Lodge, Westminster. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter and son-in-law Laura and Jim Gately of Shrewsbury, PA, sister Peach E. Killett of Sykesville, granddaughter Kaitlin Gately, great-grandchildren Trinity, Julian and Riley and nephew John E. Killett, Port Richey, FL. He was predeceased by his son Robert Anthony Killett and brother Gerald E. Killett. Funeral services and interment will be private. Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 7538 Main Street, Sykesville, MD 21784 or to BridgingLife's Dove House, c/o Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.

Great man great hunter always a joy to be around. And for Mary an even greater joy to be around! Mary, Sandy and I are praying for you and family with hopes that all the good memories come rushing back!
