Robert Wantz Obituary

Robert Leander "Bobby" Wantz, 57, of Westminster passed away on January 9, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center from complications from a stroke. Born February 19, 1963 he was the son of Polly Marie (Kevin) Silate of Panama City, FL and the late Robert Milton Wantz, II. He was the husband of 10 years of Candy D. Williams. Bobby was a woodworker at Craft-Mart, Inc. in Taneytown. He loved crabbing and fishing in his boat, shooting pool in tournaments and spending time at Ernie's Place and Frankie's. Along with his mother and wife, he is survived by daughter Jennifer (Robert) Boyd of Ft. Worth, Texas; stepchildren Samantha Calp, Candice Diggs , Charles Cregger, Jr., Robert Lessner and Sarah Sparkman; numerous grandchildren; and sisters Barbara Wantz, Christi(Dave) Manzo and Cynthia Silate as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions to defray the funeral costs may be sent to Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157.
