Ruth Susannah Hahn

of Westminster Ruth Susannah Hahn, 88, of Westminster, died Friday, April 8, 2011. Born Oct. 16, 1922, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Sarah Diehl Carr. She was the wife of the late Paul Hahn Sr. She was a homemaker and avid reader. Surviving are children Alice Eckard, Rose Frebertshauser, Patricia Hossler and Paul Hahn Jr., all of Westminster, and Sue Shaffer, of Manchester; a sister, Pauline Lenker, of Harrisburg, Pa.; a brother, H. Scott Carr, of Westminster; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Schmidt. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kristin Dubsky officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
