What a dear saint! We well remember the Winebago that stopped in our front yard in Bristol, TN years ago when they would come at meal time and add tons of food to what I was cooking for our family! It turned out to be a feast and yes, fellowship. Praying for Joe and Nancy....

Brother Joe and Sister Nancy,

I just again wanted to let you know that my wife and I are praying for you and your family during the homecoming of your mom. God was sure to give your mom such a long and prosperous life and to bless her with a good family!

She was always an encouragement to me whenever I went to visit with her. As you once told me, she was a faithful saint of God who prayed earnestly for her family and her friends, and especially for her Church family here at Church of the Open Door, where she had been a member for so long!

What a blessing it has been for me to personally know her, though only for a few weeks!

I am reminded of Psalm 116:15 which says, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."

She's Home now, waiting for the rest of us to meet her there one day...can you imagine what it must be like for her in Heaven??

What a day that will be when we are all re-united together with the LORD in that wonderful Home we call Heaven...What a blessed thought!

And Thank God for the precious Blood of Jesus Christ which has made it possible for each of us to be there!

Thank-You for being a part of the Conqueror's Sunday School Class. I know our class will lift you and your family up in prayer this week as well!

God bless you all!

In Christ,
Dr. Ray Shutt, Associate Pastor
