Timothy Scott Foltz, Sr., age 61, of Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Born February 4, 1963 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Zolan Theodore "Sonny" and Mary Ellen Carr. He was the husband of 33 years to Jackie L. Foltz. Tim was a smart, funny, and hardworking businessman. He built a beloved local business, J&T Seafood, and spent most of his days working beside his wife. Tim was well loved in the seafood business and in his home town Woodbine. His favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs and hardly ever missed a game. He loved spending his free time traveling and having a beer with his friends. Before anything else, Tim was a man who loved his family, more than anything. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Timothy Foltz, Jr. and Brandin Foltz and girlfriend Danielle Fleming; daughter-in-law, Crystal Foltz; siblings, Shari Lynn Mathis and husband Larry and Zolan T. "Teddy" Carr, III ; and grandchildren, Cassi, Carson and Emilee Foltz. He was predeceased by his brother, Conrad Eugene "J.R" Foltz, Jr. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2-5 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Springfield Cemetery in Sykesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
