Walter Leroy Martin Jr., 77, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed peacefully on March 13, 2022 at Willow Tree Nursing Home. Walter was born on November 10, 1944 in Baltimore, MD to Walter Leroy Martin and Mary Katherine Green-Martin. Walter served in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he worked as a parachute packer. After the Navy, he worked as a blacksmith for some time. Walter later worked in a nursing home as a Maintenance Manager. He loved his dogs and enjoyed horses. He leaves behind his mother, Mary Katherine Green-Martin, one son, Michael Shawn Martin of Upperco, MD. One brother, Brian Martin of Upperco, MD. Three grandchildren, Justin, Jake, and Melody, all of Hanover, PA. Four great grandchildren, Jacoby, Broaxton, Rylee, and Braelyn, all from Hanover, PA. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Leroy Martin and one son, Scott Martin. Services pending per family request.
