William Ebberts Obituary



William Harry "Bill" Ebberts, III, 66, of Carroll County, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Born July 4, 1951 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Harry Ebberts, Jr. and Althea Ruth (Herrick) Ebberts. He was the husband of 30 years to his loving wife Linda Ann (Kuessner) Ebberts. Bill was Vice President, RCDD, and Director of the Communications Division at Enterprise Electric for nearly 30 years. He served his Electrical Apprenticeship with Local Union #24 and was a member of the IBEW. He was also a proud member of the NRA. Bill enjoyed football, especially the Ravens, working out, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife, are his sons William H. "Bill" Ebberts, IV and Jonathan L. Ebberts and his wife Rachel Ebberts of Carroll County; sister and husband Sharon L. and Martin Hoenig of Taneytown; Sister-in-law Karen Kuessner of Owings Mills, Brother-in-law and wife Rudy and Robin Kuessner of Catonsville, Sister-in-law and husband Susan and Steven Englehart of Doylestown, PA; nieces Emily and Rebecca Englehart and Heather Hoenig and numerous cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, an organization that Bill and Linda greatly supported, 1393 Progress Way #908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
