I was saddened to hear of Allan's passing. I grew up with Allan in the east end of Boise. He taught me how to hunt birds. He would wake me up to go hunting in the morning with his duck call. We hung out together through the high school years. A very gentle and kind person...and even though I hadn't seen him in thirty plus years, you don't forget friends like him.

Alan and I were in basic training together along with Terry True at Ft Lewis, Wa. All of us from Boise, we had many fun times together while in basic training. I feel sad to know that we were living so close (me in Post Falls) and not knowing it. RIP my friend !!!
