Eric Stolley Obituary

Eric Michael Stolley, 43

Eric Michael Stolley, beloved son, brother, father and friend, of the Coeur d' Alene, has passed away on September 6, 2023. He was 43 years old. Eric was born on February 3, 1980, in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and he was the loving son of Coleen (Whiteman) Moore and Mike Stolley.

Eric had a diverse career that showcased his dedication and versatility. He worked at Home Depot, Rodda Paint, and Mountain West Bank before an unfortunate brain tumor left him disabled. Despite this setback, Eric remained strong-spirited and faced every challenge with resilience.

Education played an important role in Eric's life. He graduated from Mount Ellis Academy in Bozeman, Montana, and went on to attend North Idaho College. His thirst for knowledge was evident through his commitment to personal growth and continuous learning.

One aspect of Eric's life that brought immense joy was his love for the outdoors. Nature held a special place in his heart, and he found solace in exploring its wonders. Eric cherished moments spent camping amidst picturesque landscapes and embraced the tranquility that surrounded him.

Beyond his passion for the outdoors, Eric also enjoyed cooking delicious meals for his loved ones. Whether it was experimenting with new recipes or adding his own creative touch to traditional dishes, he found great happiness in sharing his culinary delights with family and friends. In quieter times, he could be found immersed in a good book or tending to his garden-a serene oasis where he nurtured both flora and soul.

On September 16, 2023, a Memorial Service will be held at Real Life Ministries located at 610 N 4th St in Coeur d' Alene. The service will begin at 11:00 AM to honor Eric's memory and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.

Eric will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have shared precious moments with him. He is survived by his loving son, Conner, who was a constant source of pride and joy for him. Eric's family includes his mother, Coleen (Whiteman) Moore of Athol, and his father and stepmother, Mike and Linda Stolley of Post Falls. His memory also lives on through his brothers Wayne (Lakewood, Wa), Mark (Spokane Valley), Stephen, and David (both of Post Falls), as well as his sister, Heather (Derek) Rice of Coeur d' Alene.

In addition to his immediate family, Eric leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish the memories they shared together.

Eric Michael Stolley was a remarkable individual whose resilience inspired all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but the impact he made will never be forgotten. As we bid farewell to Eric, let us remember him for the warmth he brought into our lives and the love he spread among us all.
