Marcus Williams Obituary
April 8, 1967 - April 14, 2024
Our hearts are broken with news of the death of Marcus Alan-Martin Williams on April 14, 2024, in Santa Ana, Calif.
Marcus Alan Martin made his entrance into this world, during an early spring morning of April 8, 1967. His father William Gary Martin was serving in Vietnam, while Mother Candice was at home in Idaho.
Marcus grew up in North Idaho, attending Post Falls schools. Marcus enjoyed playing all sports. Was ASB and secretary treasure during 1984-85. After graduation in 1985, he attended NIC for a short time than move to sunny California. He worked in the sports television industry as a camera operator for Cox Communication. Eventually became a sports producer and director, "his dream job." Marcus received many awards for the projects that he did. Which included "Emmy's" & three "Telly" awards. Marcus' last job was with Spectrum as a production manager.
He met and married Tina Zimmerman, they shared a love of sports. Marcus enjoyed coaching and cheering son Jackson and team in all his sports activities. As they spent many happy hours at sporting events. After the years of having Jackson as his son, it was a thrill when Jackson called Marcus "Dad."
Marcus' sense of humor was just one of his many endearing qualities. His family and friends will always remember him for his big heart and humor. He died of heart related issues.
Surviving Marcus, wife Tina Zimmerman Williams, stepson Jackson Horspool, Mission Viejo, Calif.; mother Candice Applegate, Boise; stepfather Harley Bush, Post Falls; brothers Brice (Mandy) Williams, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and J. Bush.
Marcus died too young, and he will forever be in our hearts and memories.
A celebration of life was held May 3, 2024, in Aliso Viejo, Calif.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Marcus´ passing. I don´t know how he passed but I know it was way too soon and my heart is broken. My loving thoughts and prayers go out to Tina, Jackson and all of his family and friends.
