Marlyn Dale Bruninga, 71

On December 15, 2022, Marlyn Dale Bruninga took her final breath and stepped into her eternal life 71 years after taking her first breath on April 20, 1951 in Ogden, Utah. Marlyn was her own person in every way and enjoyed most the attention afforded her by others. Her tastes were simple but always meaningful. She delighted in family and took joy in all of her travel escapades from trains across the nation to planes overseas, never discounting the plentiful car rides which she enjoyed. She greatly looked forward to these times, whether short or long and was always enthusiastic about going.

Marlyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and we know that she is at peace in the presence of our Beloved Savior and pretty sure she is also reconnected with our mother Ruby, the most important person to her in this life. On the days leading up to her final hours, she was surrounded by family and cared for by many who knew her.

Marlyn is survived by her two sisters; Peggy Reynolds and Jan Turner; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to her niece, Michelle John and grand-niece Taryn John for the care they gave her during her final hours and a very special thank you to all the nurses and care givers who took care of her over the last 10 years at CDA of Cascadia Health Care and Rehabilitation facility.
