Elaine C. Bruninga, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 90. Born and raised in Eufaula, Alabama, Elaine graduated from Baker Hill High School in 1952. She later made her home in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she left a lasting mark on the community.
Elaine was the proud owner of Elaine’s Grooming Salon, the very first dog grooming establishment in Warner Robins, located on South Houston Road. Her passion for animals and her entrepreneurial spirit helped shape the local pet care industry. She eventually retired from the grooming business, but her legacy in the field lives on.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Elaine was an avid gardener who found peace in taking care of her plants. She also loved sewing and cooking, often sharing her talents with family and friends. A woman of deep faith, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Elaine was known for her strong character, and her ability to be decisive and always in charge. She loved fiercely and wholeheartedly, especially when it came to her grandchildren. Her strength, spirit, and devotion to those she loved will be remembered always. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Deborah Hutchinson and Sharon Davis, parents, Wade and Lola Clark and brother, Charles E. Clark.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Allyn Bruninga; grandchildren, Craig Davis (Leslie) of Warner Robins and Bryan Hutchinson of Forsyth; great grandchildren, Auburn Davis, Ivy Davis, Sawyer Hutchinson and Emma Hutchinson and sister, Lola Ann Clark.
Visitation with Elaine’s family will be Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with the memorial service celebrating her life following in the chapel. Afterwards, Elaine will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
