I work at The Villages at Marion where we were lucky enough to have Hazel come and live with us during the winter months.

Gosh, where to I even start with Hazel! She was such an amazing women to know. I'm so thankful that I got to know her for those few years.

She caught wind that I was taking a speech class in collage and would make me give my speeches to her after suppers. I and along with a lot of others could never say no to Hazel.

Another thing Hazel would do was come late to supper so she could eat with me and my fellow co-workers when we got to sit down and take a break.

I know she hasn't lived at The Villages in a few years now but we always talk about her. She has always been missed here. When we seen she passed away there was many broken hearts around the building.

Hazel was such an amazing women and her memory will continue to live on at The Villages and with me personally.
