James King Obituary
Frankie was born in Louisa County, Virginia, to Julia King and the late James King.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa; children, Caroline Headley, Matthew King and Seth King; grandchildren, Louisa and August Headley; brothers, Richard King and Ike King; sisters, Wanda Bailey and Mariann Rigsby; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Frankie lived and worked his entire life in Louisa County, Virginia. In 1984, he started his own cabinetmaking business, King Furniture & Cabinet Shop, and worked there until his passing. He was a masterful woodworker skilled at building cabinets and creating reproduction furniture. His interests included fishing, being outdoors, and collecting antique furniture and tools. He will be remembered as a genuine, kind-hearted, relaxed man who will be missed by many.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, at Woodward Funeral Home.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Arrangements are being made by Woodward Funeral Home.
