Adam Shafer Obituary

Adam T. Shafer September 9, 1980 February 28, 2017 Adam T. Shafer, 36, of Bellefonte, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on September 9, 1980, in Beaver Falls, he is the son of Ted and Wanda (Moxley) Liston, who survive in Bellefonte. On July 2, 2015, in Bellefonte, he married Rene Shafer who survives at home. He was a 1999 graduate of Bellefonte High School. Adam worked for Crescent Supply in State College for 15 years. He enjoyed cars but his passion in life was family and children. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by three children: Zoey and Reagan-May Merlino and Conner Shafer, all of Bellefonte; one brother, Andrew Liston, of Wisconsin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received on Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 10-11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 842 W. Whitehall Road, State College, PA 16801. A memorial service will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Jefferies officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family at 355 S. Allegheny Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.wetzlerfuneralhome.com.

Thank you all! The kids and I are learning to handle the new normal. It's heart breaking to all that know Adam, but no one can even begin to imagine the pain of losing the love of your life. It warms my heart to know how loved he is and the kids and I are very greatful to everyone that's keeping are heads up. Adam and I wrote are own vowels, and neither of this said "till death do us part" . We swore to be together for all time, we know life continues after we leave are mortal coil behind. For I am not a widow but a wife to a man waiting for me on the other side.With all are love and thanks

We are feeling deep sadness upon reading about the loss of Adam. He was always a Gentleman, exceedingly friendly and a pleasure to work with.
