We all called you "Chicky". I never knew why. With love and respect from Aunt Linda.

Ella joined our Centre County Senior Environmental Corps when encouraged by Genie Robine. She was immediately a positive presence-besides her warm smile and positive presence, she took on the job of secretary and served for many years. She was always happy to update me on the Gentzel kids that had been in my 5th and 6th grade classroom, beaming with pride. We have missed her these past few years, but we won't forget her.
Sending warm wishes and sympathy to her family in this great loss, Laurie Jeffreys

Ella was a once in a lifetime friend! We shared decades of experiences and stories. I am blessed and grateful to have had her in my life. She impacted more lives than she likely realized. I´m sure Paul was ready to greet her with a big bear hug!
Anyone fortunate to have had Ella in their lives was blessed - family, friend, colleague ... prayers to each of you.
I can never thank you enough for being my friend, mentor, confidante and sounding board.
Rest in peace, Chickie, your legacy continues.
Love and miss you!

One can never forget that wonderful smile that always greeted everyone she met. She was a heart warming and understanding woman. People like Ella are few and far between. I am pleased to say I knew and respected her.

Tammy and Terry and all grandchildren
Ella was the dearest friend I ever had. We connected the first days she arrived from California. She was a beautiful lady inside and outside.
My good friend, Marcia Garman, and I thought she was a classy debutant until we had a lunch one day and she picked her piece of chicken up with her fingers to eat it. We then knew she wasn´t a debutant but one us regular Centre County natives!! She fit right in to our community , always sharing her loving and caring ways with everyone she touched, until her passing.
To all of her family, you were so lucky to have a "Nanna " in your life like. She loved all of you so deeply.
Thank you to Terry Peavler Sr for bringing her to Central PA.
She so loved the outdoors -her beautiful deck and hot tub, her gardens, her beautiful patch of woods surround her special home and Stone Valley where she and Paul got married.
I will miss her so much. Our friendship was so special to the end
Your forever friend
