There's never an Easter Sunday that's gone by in 13 years that I haven't thought of you. You were such an amazing friend, and I miss you so very much. We used to talk about the future, and when I look at my children today I think of how very much I wanted them to meet you. You're so very missed, and loved.

My whole life has changed multiple times in the last 13 years. But you're still gone. I lived in Bellefonte when you passed. We saw each other occasionally at the salon. Your beautiful smile always on your face. The shock of your passing still hits all of us who knew you from Penn State. We all miss you and you will never be forgotten.

I cannot believe it has been 13 years, as of yesterday, since you blessed this world with your presence. Forever remembered. Forever loved. Forever missed!

13 yrs tomorrow 4/8/20, to me it was every moment I have lived since that day. I love you, I want to hug you, I want to hear your laughter, I want to see your smile. I share my life with you with your Gianna. I want her to know you like I do. You are missed terribly, no words a mother can describe. It's so very painful Jodi. I love you so much. Mother

Its been several years since someone has posted to Jodi. Though its been 6 years the pain is still as if it were yesterday. Your daughter is growing up to be a lovely young lady and you would be so proud. I hope she understands that God needed an angel when he took you.

There are moments in life where you wish you could bring someone down from heaven and spend the day with them just one more time. I know I would love to do that with you....I miss you my friend!

Jodi was one of the warmest and happiest people I've ever known. With Vicky's love and guidance, Gianna will know what a wonderful mommy she had. My favorite times with Jodi were when we got to spend several hours together at the Looks Styling Salon and taking her classes at East Coast Health & Fitness.
God Bless,

To the Family & Friends of Jodi:
I met Jodi when I was in college and walked into Looks Salon downtown in need of a haircut. Needless to say her warm and kind attitude was infectious and she became my hairstylist for the next 4 years. She will be missed and may God help Gianna to know what a wonderful person her mother was.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jodi,
It's unthinkable that your life was cut short way too early. It is with nothing but happiness that I remember our years together at Penn State. Nothing can replace those carefree years as little sisters and all the fun things we did.
I pray for strength for your family as they grieve for you, and that they will find peace in knowing that you will see eachother again one day in heaven.
I pray for Gianna that she will continued to be surrounded by love and joy, and that she will carry on all the characteristics that made you such a wonderful person.

I've known Jodi since 1988, going back to our time at Penn State. I've never known her to have anything but a kind, warm, gentle heart. Although in recent years our only contact has been through a yearly Christmas card and an occasional e-mail, my opinion has not changed. My deepest sympathy goes out to her duagter and to her family. This tragedy has been so hard to swallow, tough to come to grips with. I remember those days in Altoona like they were yesterday, we were all kids back then, so much of our time ahead of us. And now through one senseless, unimaginable act, one of my friends, one of my 'sisters' is gone. I'm sure my words express what all of us feel, we love you Jodi, we miss you...

Jodi...
You've always known just what to say...
You were always there when I needed you the most...
When I needed a shoulder to cry on, yours was always waiting...
When I needed someone to talk to, you were there just listening...
When I needed someone to hug, your arms were doors wide open to me...
Our friendship's just like the stars. Both go beyond Man's reach...
All of the giggles we shared..
Let the salty taste of tears run down our cheeks...
All the laughs, the smiles, the hugs, the inside jokes, the hours online, and the eighty minute phone calls...
Just because...
You were the family that God forgot to give me.
We lost you so suddenly...so violently...so surprisingly. I will never forget you my friend, my sister!
Love to you always and forever!

Those we love remain with us,
for love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
because the one we loved is gone.
Those we love can never be,
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there's a memory,
the live on in our hearts.
Dear Miss Vicki,
I hope this poem helps you and your family as it has helped ours.As we raise our children our hope is that others will admire and love them as much as we have. There are countless people who feel your pain as they to must go on without seeing her smile, hearing her voice,or having her touch. As her Mother you should have the greatest pride in knowing that she left a mark in everyone's heart she met.As you travel the rough road that lies ahead for you, know that because of this ...You and Gianna will never be alone.Jodi was special and she will never be forgotten.
I am so sorry for you loss. Anita Yearick

Jodi was truly one of the most beautiful people I have ever known, inside and out. I moved away from State College 5 years ago, and could never make a trip back without stopping in to see her; she was always there with that fantastic smile and amazing personality. Eight years ago I met Jodi as my hair stylist, and over the years she became a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She will be missed by so many. We love you Jodi.

Our most sincere and deepest sympathies are extended to the family. I have never met Jodi but I feel that I know her. Her mother Vickey Warshaw is a key member of my management team. Vickey is extremely classy, dedicated and hardworking. I could sense the excitement in Vickey each Friday as she prepared for her journey to Central Pennsylvania. When she retuned Monday she always shared the stories of the people she loved most. I am certain that Jodi had many of the qualities of her outstanding Mother.
We are taught to forgive. Many of us have difficulty forgiving this senseless death. There is little doubt that Jodi is an angel.
As we grieve with Vickey and her family, I want Vickey to know that her BTI family is standing by to support her as we move into the future.
