Michael B. Confer

Michael B. Confer June 5, 1969 February, 25, 2014 Michael B. Confer, 44, of Bellefonte, died Tuesday, February, 25, 2014, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born June 5, 1969, in Bellefonte, he was the son of Philip R. Confer, of Bellefonte and the late Mary Bierly Confer. He married Tanja Nuytten, who survives. He is also survived by four children, Michael, Jacob, Madison and Emma Confer, all at home; two brothers, John Hull and his wife, Deb and Brian Hull and his wife, Kaye, both of Bellefonte; one sister-in-law, Michelle Lessman and her husband, Matt, of Stormstown; and two half-siblings. Michael was a 1988 graduate of Bellefonte High School. He was employed with Graymont, Pleasant Gap, as a utility miner. He was a happy, fun loving person who enjoyed working, camping at Poe Valley, arguing politics with his friends and having a cold beer on a hot day. He also loved a good Joe Paterno football game. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, casual attire requested.
