Praise God for His gift of eternal life and promises. Ed and I were both 'band buddies' with Paul and neighbors in Millheim. Those years at PV and being involved in the band program were like none other...wonderful, fun memories were ours to share. On a more personal note, we were honored to have Paul play his trumpet at our wedding in June 1976. He was so very talented! We have a wonderful picture of him on that day!
We are saddened to hear of his death. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.

The post from Jack Miller brought both tears and smiles..I grew up in Millheim and was one of Paul's classmates from the very beginning - starting in 1st grade in Coburn. I also was one of his "band buddies". Under Jack's direction, the music program excelled and was one we were proud to be a part of and brings back so many wonderful memories ..... Paul was so talented and such a good person. My deepest sympathies to you and yours...

So sorry to hear about Paul. I was his former band director and private trumpet teacher at Penns Valley H.S. Have not seen Paul or heard from him in many years. Every time I go thru Millheim and past where He used to live, I think of him and wonder where and how he's doing. Now I know. As one person once told me "I know there is nothing I can do, but is there anything I can do?" I never met Paul's family, I want you to know that Paul was a wonderful student, very dedicated to the Penns Valley band, an excellent trumpet player, and just a great kid. If you hear from any of his former "band buddies" ask them to tell you about the summer band program. Those kids had a real blast. Paul was blest to have grown up in an excellent environment, with great support from parents and grandfather. Again I am thinking of you,and expressing condolences as one who knew Paul many years ago. On the lighter side, what kind of wine do you suggest?? Much love from Jack Miller (former band director at PVHS.
