Julian, Pennsylvania - Robert C. Alterio, 62 of Julian, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center. Bob was born on August 22, 1959 in Bellefonte a son of the late William and Mary Corl Alterio. Bob is survived by his daughters, Heather Alterio of Bellefonte and Brittany Alterio of Julian; he is also survived by his siblings, Tom (Michelle) Alterio of Zion, Linda (Bill) Reeder of Bellefonte, his sister-in-law Virginia Alterio of Centre Hall, his granddaughter, Lorelai Madilia, his godson, Vincent Beck. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, David Alterio and his nephew Jordan Alterio.
Bob was a 1977 graduate of Bellefonte High School where he wrestled and enjoyed following Bellefonte wrestling after his graduation. He was a 1994 graduate of Penn State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. He was a teacher at an alternative school servicing the surrounding school districts before his retirement. Bob was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellefonte. Bob devoted his life to his two daughters. He enjoyed doing home renovations with them, following and coaching their sporting events, never missing a single game even if it meant flying across the country and also his yearly trips to Ocean City, MD. He loved attending the Grange Fair where after retirement he enjoyed being the caller at the bingo stand. He was a fan of both Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
