Grandfather you will be missed!!! and even tho you couldn't get me into flying I will never look up at another plane and not think of you. I hope I can raise my family as good as you did yours and I hope I can live my life to the fullest like you. As Carol said you set the bar high, I hope I can set it one notch higher for my son. With all my heart I love you.

Bob, Mike and Carol,

It has been quite a few years since I have seen your dad but he always impressed me with his wonderful spirit.

I have many fond memories of the get togethers with folks from the church at your house on the top of the hill and the cottage on Spring Creek.

I know you will miss him but I know you can be proud of the kind of person he was.

Uncle Bob was my "Favorite Uncle". I always looked forward to talking with him at family reunions because he led such an interesting life and had fabulous stories [TRUE STORIES] to tell. He was an amazing man who kept flying until he was 90. What a sad loss for all of us Ishler's.

Though we knew Bob seven years, it was easy to find a gentle, kind spirit along with an overwhelming knowledge of not only aviation but any topic of discussion. He will be greatly missed and our hearts and prayers go to Anna Mary and all the family.
Bless you all.

Uncle Bob will be missed and even though visiting was infrequent, he was in my thoughts often. May the memories of all the good times help heal the emptiness. I know I have many memories of camping, trip to Kansas and Colorado and the biplane. He encouraged my boys love of planes and they will never forget that!

The world lost a great man, but Heaven has gained one of the best. I have never met a sweeter, kinder, or more caring individual. I know Bob's spirit will continue to live on through his family and friends. He will be missed by many. Peace and love to you Bob.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. The Ishler's are a close nit family, even if they are far away. When they get together, it was like they were never apart. Great Uncle Bob will be missed by all.
