West Decatur, Pennsylvania - Shirley Ann Corl, 77, of West Decatur, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, October 20, 2025. Born on August 14, 1948 in State College, she was a daughter of Ray J. and Doris Jane (Burk) Holsinger. Shirley was a 1966 graduate of State College High School and was a bookkeeper and receptionist at Naomi & Co. in State College, for many years. Shirley loved spending time with her family and was always willing to help others any way she could. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, camping and cherished moments around the fire with family and friends. On November 4, 1967, she married Raymond W. Corl, who survives at home. Also surviving is their three children Harry Corl (Tracy) of Snow Shoe, Tyler Corl (Karen) of Tyrone and Ramie Corl (Darlene) of Port Matilda; five grandchildren Jacob Corl (Morgan), Jordan Corl (Alexis), Dylan Corl, Reyanne Corl (Breana) and Ramie Corl Jr. (Emily); four great grandchildren Raelynn, Addyson, Jace and Amelia; three sisters Viola Smeltzer, Gloria Weaver (John), and Pamela Weiler (Terry), a brother Donald Holsinger (Karen) and a sister-in-law Bonnie Titus (William). Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas Holsinger and Harry Holsinger and a sister-in-law Nancy Holsinger. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Aseracare Hospice, 1015 Logan Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
