Thomas Brush Obituary

Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Thomas A. Brush, age 69 of Bellefonte, PA passed away on September 7, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Tom was born in Dayton, OH in July 1955, the son of the late Leonard L. Brush of Struthers, OH and the late Donna Morris Brush of New Castle, PA.
Tom spent most of his childhood in Lutherville, MD and had a lifelong fondness for the Chesapeake Bay area. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed sharing his carpentry as well as handyman skills with anyone in need. He was also well known for his caring love of animals and generous heart.
He is survived by his siblings, David Brush (Melanie), Dana Rankin (Ronald), Caryl Decker (Michael) and Joseph L. Brush as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are children, Thomas Hayes of Philipsburg PA, Joseph T. Brush (Jennifer) of Hawley, PA and Tori Linsenbigler (Kevin) of Lackawaxen, PA and his grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held later this month. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grane Hospice/Altoona or the American Lung Association.
