Joan Kirby Obituary

Joan Renee Kirby N. CHARLESTON - Joan Renee Kirby, 58, wife of Larry Kirby, of N. Charleston, SC, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Parks Funeral Home, in Summerville, SC, Saturday afternoon, September 18, 2010, from 4 - 6 o'clock so that there won't be a conflict with the West Virginia Mountaineers football game. Survivors include her husband, Larry Kirby of N. Charleston, SC; three daughters, Heather Hill of Sarasota, FL, Carrie Swiderski of Charlotte, NC and Kelly Inglis of Albany, NY; six sons, Christian Hill of Charleston, WVA, Jeremy Hill of Concord, MA, Kip Kirby of Albany, NY, Ian Holcomb and Jordan Holcomb, both of Jackson, WY, and Parker Kirby of Charleston, SC; 11 grandchildren; her father, Robert Bennett of Sun City West, AZ and one brother, Tom Bennett of Raleigh, NC. Words can't express what I'm feeling b/c I just learned about this. I used to work with her a long time ago at Thomas Memorial. We became friends and kept that going for a while when she move to Charleston, but we lost touch. I will keep her memory alive, and I will keep your family in my prayers. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
