Bernice Crenshaw Obituary
Mrs. Crenshaw, 75, of Charlotte, departed this life Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at her home. She was born February 29, 1938 in Kershaw County, and was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Charlotte.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Crenshaw, Leon Crenshaw; daughters, Melody Crenshaw, Shemel Young, and Janice Mobley; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Luke Baptist Church. Rev. Schuler will officiate with Rev. Waldo Robinson assisting. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Parker Funeral Home of Rock Hill is assisting the Crenshaw Family.

To the Crenshaw family you are in my prayers and have my deepest sympathy.I meet Mrs. Bernice when I worked for the senior hot lunch program at the Hall House Mrs.Bernice would come there just about everyday and volunteer she always had a smile on her face she would help you in any way she could I know she will truly be missed by her kids,grandkids and friends but just know she is in a better place now May God Bless the family

Although it has been quite some time since I have seen you I loved Bernice and I can only imagine the pain you must be going through. Please know that God - in His wisdom - knows where each one of you is right now in your personal stage of grief. And He can and will give you "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...that He may be glorified", Isaiah 61:3.My prayer for you is that you always remember the love of your dear mother, because love never dies.
