Cecelia Gaddy Obituary

Cecelia B. Gaddy
TRINITY -- Mrs. Gaddy, 68, a loving wife, mother and grandmother of 3985 Valley Forge Drive, passed away July 9, 2006. Mrs. Gaddy was born June 28, 1938 in Mecklenburg County to Kirby Blackmon and Vernie Lorener Mundy Blackmon.
Mrs. Gaddy had been employed by the City of Charlotte, the City of High Point and later worked at Lee Springs, Incorporated in Greensboro. She was a member of Trindale Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gaddy was preceded in death by a son, Danny Gaddy in 1987.
Mrs. Gaddy was married to Robert Gaddy who survives of the residence. Also surviving are a son, Randy Gaddy of Trinity; a daughter, Sandi Gaddy Walden and husband, Glenn of Lincolnton; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale by Reverend Tony Moore. Interment will be in Floral Garden Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
