Marie Saul Dobbins
DUBLIN, VA -- Mrs. Dobbins, 63, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006. She was a longtime member of the Fairlawn Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Dobbins, her parents, Charles William and Evelyn Viers Saul, a grandson, Greg Dobbins and a brother, Eddie Saul.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Tammy Dobbins of Charlotte, NC, and Jeffrey and Diana Dobbins of Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Terry and J. Wayne Vaughan of Galax; five grandchildren, Lisa Mountjoy, Zachary Dobbins, Meagan Vaughan, Sarah Kennedy and Tyler Dobbins; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy Ingram and Brittany Smith; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Lee Saul of New River; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelvia and Buddy King of Va. Beach, Clara Neishell of Dublin, Bonnie and Jerry Thornton of Dublin, and Sherry and Otey Mitchell of New River; and a special friend, Lon Adams.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairlawn Church of God with Rev. Jim Angle officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Healing in His Wings Ministry, Box 24, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
The Dobbins family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford (www.mullinsfuneralhome.com).
