Cheryl was my "best friend" in preschool at Myers Park Methodist Church a LONG time ago. I remember her curly hair and how much fun we had playing hide and seek in her sisters' bedroom. I'm sorry I did not know her as an adult. She must have been an incredibly beautiful Godly woman, who I know would have been a
"best friend"! My condolences to her family.

From the first day I met Cheryl, I admired her charm, passion and love for Prentiss. I attended their wedding, celebrated the birth of their daughter and learned to love them both. I am lucky to have known Cheryl and am a better person as a result of our friendship.

It is true, that if love could have saved you that you would have lived forever.
We take comfort in knowing that God has made you whole and pain free. We know that one day you will welcome into His kingdom with open arms as this is not "good-bye" but "see you later".
I feel so blessed to know and love so many in your family and I carry their burden or their sorrow in my heart. I know you carry with you knowing that your precious daughter and loving husband will be cared for by your family.
You will not ever be forgotten, sweet Cheryl. You will be forever loved by all that knew you.

Cheryl was the third oldest daughter in our family of four girls. She was absolutely adored by her younger sister. We cannot imagine life without her. There were three things we always had in abundance in our house growing up and in the years afterwards: joy, laughter and music. We know that Cheryl has all those things in greater abundance in her new Home with the Lord. Cheryl fought a courageous fight against cancer. In the end, it took her wonderful earthly life from us much too soon, but it was could not abolish love or eternal life.
If love could have saved you, Cheryl, you would have lived forever.
We have no doubt we will be together again one day.
Much Love,
Stephanie and Daniel Salb
