I went on line shortly after my dear friends death in July to sign this book however the entry never made it in the guest book. I hope this one does. I continue and will always miss my loving friend, he made a mark on my heart that no one can ever erase. His love and friendship meant everything to me and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about him. He's able to listen to me all the time now and god knows I still talk to him regularly. In the sweet by and by "we" shall meet on that beautiful shore, I'll expect to see you waiting there for "me". God bless the family for I know what they will be missing.

My first entry in this registry was to convey condolences to the part of his family I know so well (Jim, Wanda and Janie). But as I read these entries, I am reminded of so many things about Cliff that were incrdibly special and totally unique to "pop." The infield will never be the same but he has left an indelible imprint on my heart!

My contacts with Mr. Correll go back to the late 1950's and into the 60's. I worked at the post office in Charlotte and had many interactions with him, all memorable. His willingness to help us "subs" learn the ropes was always sincere and clear.
If you could ask Cliff if he remembered my dad, Lester Howie, he would probably have a lot of stories to tell relative to their time as co-workers in Accountable Paper.
Fortunately, my dad is still living at age 95 and we talk frequently about our careers in the postal service and the fine people we both know.
For all of Cliff's family, my condolences. You are so fortunate to have so many memorable years and so many friends who also remember him. Our legacy is all we can take with us into eternity. Cliff has a lot to take. God Bless you all.

Cliff was so very special to us. He was like part of our family in so many ways. We loved him and will miss him so much. There will never be anyone that can take his place. He loved the Lord with all his heart and he loved people. This is Heaven's gain and our loss.
