He was born on July 31, 1939 in Mecklenburg County and was a lifelong Charlottean. He was the son of the late Clyde Kiser and Myrtle Kiser. He graduated from Central High School in 1957 and enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BA in Political Science in 1974. Clyde is survived by his loving wife Jean Kiser, of 57 years-who was his high school sweetheart. Four grandchildren; Brittany Jamison, Mark Frazier Jr., Leah Frazier, and Heather Frazier. His granddaughter Kayla Jamison-for whom he dearly loved preceded him in death.
