Edward Perry Obituary
Edward W. Perry Jr., 43, of Charlotte, went home to be with the Lord on December 30th, 2011. He was born October 25th, 1968 in Vieques, Puerto Rico, as the beloved son of Edward W. and Rosa Perry, Sr. of Hamilton, Ohio. Edward, a.k.a. 'Tubby,' leaves behind to mourn his three children, Jaleesa Perry, Gabrielle Perry and Edward W. Perry, III all from Baltimore, Maryland; his beloved grandmothers, Ruby W. Perry of Charlotte, NC and Maria Tolentino of New York, NY; two brothers, Philip Perry (Shanti) of Charlotte, NC and Anthony Perry of Hamilton, Ohio; his lifelong best friend, Ricky Sconion of Akron, Ohio; 8 nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends from Charlotte, Baltimore and Ohio. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Isiah Perry, formerly of Charlotte, NC, and Sabino Gomez, formerly of Tampa, Florida. Funeral service Friday, January 6, 2012, 1pm at N. E. 7th Day Adventist Church, 827 Tom Hunter Rd., Charlotte, NC. Visitation from 12-1 at the church. Burial in Forest Lawn-West Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home (www.alexanderfunerals.com) is serving the Perry Family.

Ed and Rosa, I was truly saddened when Anthony called me Friday with the news. My heart goes out to you and the remainder of your family.
