Elizabeth Davis Obituary

Elizabeth "Beth" Davis
June 4, 1956 - November 25, 2022
Charlotte, North Carolina - Beloved daughter of Ellen Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina and Richard Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Elizabeth "Beth" Davis passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 25, 2022. Beth attended Charlotte Mecklenburg schools. She began her long career in the restaurant industry at Beauregard's Deli with her aunt and uncle, Ginny and Joe Clark. Later on, she worked alongside her mother, Ellen, growing the McNinch House Restaurant.
Beth was known for her dedicated work ethic, independent spirit, and fierce loyalty. Her fighting determination, deep love, and tender concern for those around her will be dearly missed.
The family is deeply grateful to the dedicated nurses and doctors at Novant Health third floor ICU and is overwhelmed by their empathy, support, and care. Her death is the embodiment of Robert Frost's words, "Nothing gold can stay." She was truly taken too soon.
She is preceded in death by her cousins, Steve Statham and Timmie Clark. She is survived by her parents, her aunt and uncle Linda and James Statham, her cousins Mitchell Clark, Robin Statham Sloop, and Kathy Statham Nash, grand-nieces and nephews Ericka, Olivia, Sydney, Nick, Daniel, Jeremy, Lyndsay, and Michael, and her best friend, Kim Schmitz.
Beth, after a life devoted to serving others, your table is now ready.
A gathering of family & friends will be held Sunday, December 4 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the McNinch House Restaurant.

It's been a year since you left us. I still can't really believe you are gone. Even though we kinda lost touch, when we got together it was as if no time had passed. The world is a little less bright. I'll always love you Beth. RIP

Ellen, I was so shocked to see Beth had passed. I use to Babysit her when you volunteered on Saturday nights at the hospital. I can only imagine the heartbreak you must feel. Please know that I am sending love, thoughts and prayers to each of you.
