Deepest sympathy to your entire family. George was a wonderful man. My memories of him will be of laughter and kindness, silly epitaphs, his quiet intelligence, a passion for the world, history and his fellow man, respect for all individuals, love and pride for his family, a welcoming smile and a twinkle in his eye that hinted of the treasure inside. George will be missed. You are all in my prayers. God bless. Marie

Hello all... I was very saddened to see the passing of your father and also that your mother had gone before him. I met your mother when I worked at Bloomsburg Hospital in the early 1980's. Both your parents were such kind people and very good to me. I will truly miss them.

To Elizabeth,Arthur,Katherine and Alice,
I send you my deepest sympathies with the passing of your dad. I met your parents when I worked at the nursing home where he stayed in Bloomsburg. Your mom and I grew to be good friends. I so enjoyed getting to know your dad as well. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet all of you, you may remember,... and even see Terry's and George's talented grandaughter dance the Irish Jig.
I felt an instant rapport with all of you and could see what a fine legacy George and Terry left you.
I miss them so I can only imagine what you must feel.
I wish you all the best.

To the entire Stetson family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your father and your mother. They were dear friends of mine in Bloomsburg and as I visited with Terry, George was on the floor playing with my children. What dear, dear people who greatly impacted my life. Thank you for sharing them for a time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We were saddened to hear of George's death. As West Chester neighbors for many years, we have fond memories of sharing good times with the whole family, and the many summer visits with all the grandchildren.
Our love and prayers to you all.

While I never knew George Stetson, I am honored to be the current principal of the school that bares his father, George Arthur Stetson's name. Everyday I gaze up at his picture and do my best to honor his memory. I will now think of his son as well. My sincerest condolences to the Stetson family.
