Gregory Sarles Obituary
Our beautiful son, Gregory Ryan Sarles of Charlotte and formerly of Carmel, NY, was a true gift from God whose life was cut too short but is now in the arms of his Noonie, Poppy, Uncle Greg and our Lord. He will always be remembered for his big smile, his beautiful loving eyes and his infectious giggle. He was a loyal friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Nola Gnewuch.
He is survived by his parents, John, Jr. and Dianne Sarles; his brothers, Brenton and Jack; his paternal grandparents, John Sr. and Eileen of Sarles; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with The Reverend Patrick Toole, Celebrant.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203 or St. Matthew Catholic Church, P.O. Box 49349, Charlotte, NC 28277.

John, Diane, Brenton, and Jack I could not even imagine the pain you are going through at this moment. Greg was an amazing individual with a heart so big. His eyes were captivativing and his smile was one that will never be forgotten. Not only did Greg touch my life, but I know he captivated so many others in the Matthews area and I can not wait until I can see his humbling face once again. My prayers are with all of you, and I hope through this tribulations you will never forget the strength this young man had inside of him. To Greg's family,
Greg was such a great guy. From the first time I met him, he made me feel like I had known him forever. He was such a loyal and warm hearted person and he is truly going to be missed. His memory will live on and you guys have the support of all of us behind you.
