Helen Fesmire Obituary

Helen Stam Fesmire CHARLOTTE - Helen Stam Fesmire, 91, of Charlotte, passed away on February 8, 2013 at Carmel Hills Retirement Community. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday morning, Feb. 16 at 10:30 AM at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, with internment to follow at Matthews Historic Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Fesmire was born on November 18, 1921 in Paterson, NJ. Helen graduated from Wheaton College where she met her husband, W. Lloyd Fesmire, who preceded her in death in 2005. They lived a life together of service to the Lord in pastoral ministry. Helen leaves behind four children: Connie, Dotsie, Lois, and Tom with their spouses; two sisters: Betty and Marian; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Star of Hope Ministries, 34 Broadway, Paterson, NJ, 07505. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, Weddington/Matthews Chapel.
