James Gannon Obituary

James Patrick Gannon
Mr. Gannon, 52 of Charlotte died Thursday, June 15th at his home.
Born in San Francisco, California on November 5, 1953 Jimmy was the son of the Eugene Gannon and the late Dorothy Durr Gannon. An area resident for the past 13 years, Jim was an avid sportsman. He coached his son Matt's baseball team and his daughter Kelly's soccer team.
In his free time, Jim enjoyed playing softball and golfing with his friends, especially his trip to Pinehurst.
He had an infectious personality and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Carla; children, Matt Gannon and wife, Stephanie, Lake Park; Kelly Gannon of the home; brother, Steve Gannon, Fair Oaks, CA; sister, Terry Ball, Belmont, CA; father, Gene Gannon, Redwood City, CA.
A Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Jim's life will take place on Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30 PM at the Gannon Residence, 3327 Lazybranch Rd, Charlotte.
The family has asked that memorials be made to the Huntington Disease Society of America, 505 8th Ave, Suite 902, NY, NY, 10018 or 1-800-345-4372.
Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center is entrusted with the arrangements.
