In 1967, he moved his family to Atlanta, GA where he was partner and Vice President of the architectural and engineering firm, Cadre. He left Cadre in the early 1980s and co-founded American Combustion, Inc. In 1991, he left ACI and purchased a Paul Davis Restoration franchise in North Carolina, where he remained until his death.

We are very sad to have lost a friend in Jim. But will remember the times spent together with you, Nancy, and Jim, during our mountain trips and suppers together. May you find peace and joy in the memories you and Jim shared together these many years. God keep you and your family well and in peace. Steve & Gin-Nie
