I met Jamie only several times, through mutual friends, and she was as pleasant and amiable a person that I've ever met. I was struck then, and now thinking about her, by her wonderful smile, and sense of humor. My sincere condolences to Jamie's family.

Jamie was an amazing friend, beautiful on the inside and out, lit up any room room she walked into and was one of the kindest and most selfless people I've ever met. As Sigma sisters at UNC we formed a bond that grew stronger as the years passed and shared memories I will cherish always. She was taken from all of us way too soon. Words cannot describe how much I miss her. Jan and Ron, as well as extended family and friends, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Jan and Ron, I was so shocked to hear of your tragic loss. She was a beautiful girl, like her Mother. She had so much ahead of her. I wish I could be there to hug you tight and cry with you when you need to. Keep your memories and God will take care of the rest. Mr. and Mrs. Kimble and Family: I remember Jamie as an eager elementary student at Sadie Saulter in Greenville, NC many, many years ago. She was a very quiet young lady with a broad smile. Mr. Kimble would always come to our school to speak to Jamie's classes about his job. Jamie was very proud of her Daddy! She would beam and occassionally look about the room to see other reactions as her Dad talked about his job. Jamie was also very bright and excelled in her school work. She had so many gifts and talents to share. I will be in constant prayer for the family.

Jamie's smile will remain in my heart forever. I'll never forget all our travels - whether it was Minneapolis, San Antonio, cruises, Greenville, Charlotte, Orlando - we had a million laughs and she was always full of shenanigans. Jamie lit up the room just by walking into it. She was so full of life and lived it to the fullest each day. She had the biggest heart that always had room for 1 more. Ron and Jan, All 3 of you touched so many of us in Greenville. We thought of the 3 of you as "family." That has not changed. I was so blessed to have Jamie as a student at C. M. Eppes Middle School. In those days she sported braces with a winning smile. While she was intelligent, bright, kind and sweet she won our hearts. We miss you... how you find good in everyone, self proclaimed Tum E Yummies Sunshine Queen of Florida driving that car , hearing about how much you loved your parents and how fun it was growing up in the Kimble home, what will we do without your purse with everything in it but the kitchen sink standing by to share a kleenex, scissors,or a piece of jewlery at a moments notice!. You taught us alot about what it is to give and care, hydrate, exercise and eat right! You were always on fire for our brands and our company. We know your spirit will live in all of us. All four of us had dinner together about 5 years over at Jocks and Jills. Not sure if you remember me. I met Jamie on a Chamber trip in Cancun, and we immedialtely hit it off. She was so full of life. She really loved the two of you. I am devistated by this tragic news, and my heart goes out to you. She was loved by so many, as you well know.
