I will miss Joel. I had the opportunity of meeting Joel and Pat at Anchor Bay. He was truly a kind and great man.

I worked with Joel in 1980 when he lived in Miami. We had a lot of fun at work. He gave me a stock tip, he told me to buy Armstrong Rubber because it was going to double in six months. It didn't. It doubled in three months. It went from 14 to over 28 in three months and I didn't buy it.
Everytime I drive by the house he lived in on the corner of Mirimar Parkway, and I think it was Coconut Palm Drive, I think of him.
I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.
