John Graeber Obituary

KANNAPOLIS -- Mr. John Douglas Graeber, 83, died Friday, April 4, 2003 at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord, NC, after declining health for four years. The funeral service will be e 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2003 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Kannapolis, NC. Dr. David Paulson will officiate. Interment will be in Carolina Memorial Park in Concord. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Sunday, April 6,2 003 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
Born March 30, 1918 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Lewis Agustus Graeber and Cora Knight Graeber. He was a member of the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and a devoted Sunday School attendant.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doretha Hill Graeber of the home; daughter, Alta Graeber McKlevin of Kannapolis, NC; sister, Mable G. Ford of Durham, NC; brother, Marvin B. Graeber of Greensboro; sisters-in-law, Ordway Bost of the home, Julis H. Wright of Forrestville, MD, Annie R. Hill, Kannapolis, NC, Doris H. Hill of Brooklyn, NY; brothers-in-law, James L. Hill of Kannapolis, NC and Roland J. Hill of Brooklyn, NY.
Headquarters will be at the home, 1507 Pennsylvania, Avenue home of the family.
Clark Funeral Home of Kannapolis is in charge of arrangements.
