Julia Riddle Obituary

Julia W. Riddle
Mrs. Riddle, age 85, of Charlotte, died Sunday May 6, 2007. Born in LaGrange, NC, she was the daughter of the late Noah Henry Walters and Inez Dawson Walters.
Mrs. Riddle was a homemaker and for many years an active member of Sharon Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Riddle, Sr.
Survivors include a son, William H. Riddle, Jr. and his wife Mary Jo of Greenwich, CT; a daughter, Gina Jones and her husband Marcus of Waxhaw, NC; six grandchildren: Courtney, William, Alec, and Graham Riddle of Greenwich, CT and Katie and Tyler Jones of Waxhaw, NC; one sister, Mary Lily Edgerton of Goldsboro, NC; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Julia Riddle will be held Thursday May 10, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Rd., Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service, also at the church. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park will be private.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care and attention shown to Mrs. Riddle by both her caregivers at home as well as the staff of Sunrise Assisted Living on Providence Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith at Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210 or to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are under the care of Harry and Bryant Company, Charlotte.
