Marjorie Greshle Obituary

Marjorie S. Greshle
Mrs. Greshle, 91, of Charlotte, died December 21, 2009, at Sunrise at Eastover. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Bessie Mae Bowman, she was born October 7, 1918 in Nelliston, NY. She was a retired office administrator with Luxuray Inc., having worked at its offices in Fort Plain, NY, and New York City.
Mrs. Greshle was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Charlotte and a former member of Fort Plain United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Art-Wel Otsquago Chapter No. 208 in Amsterdam, NY.
Mrs. Greshle was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Spencer of Nelliston, and her second husband, Albert Greshle of Frankfort, NY. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Frank Bowman, of Nelliston.
Mrs. Greshle is survived by her daughter, Jean Utter of Charlotte; grandsons, James Utter and John Utter, both of Charlotte; her niece, Dorothy Bowman Davidson of Springfield, MO; and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be next spring at Fort Plain Cemetery in New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 4305 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC 28205; or Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, NC 28204.
Arrangements are in the care of Lowe Funeral Home of Matthews.
