Nellie Mae Barber Brock
BENNETTSVILLE -- Mrs. Brock, 89, died Saturday, November 26,2 005. Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday at Whitner-Evans Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation is 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brock was born in Marlboro County, a daughter of the late Alvin and Meta Barber. She was retired from Talon, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was married to the late Edward O. Brock,.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Brock (Marguerite) of Bennettsville, and William F. Brock (Shirley) of Hartsville; a daughter, Mrs. Dot B. Taylor (David) of Rock Hill; sisters, Retha Stevenson of Bennettsville, Shirley Odom of Gibson, and Virgina Brigman of Laurinburg; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Helping Hands Hospice, PO Box 474, Bennettsville, SC 29512.

I enjoyed visiting Mrs. Brock at the nursing home. She loved company

and having someone to talk to her

about the Lord. We will miss her.
